ALERT! Spam/Phishing Email Posing as AHCA

According to the Florida Health Care Association (FHCA), a Florida Skilled Nursing Facility received an email that appeared to come from the Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) containing new banking and routing information for providers. AHCA has confirmed that this email and the accompanying letter are SPAM and should be deleted and ignored. There have been no changes to AHCA’s banking information.  

Providers should ensure that they alert anyone within their organization of this potential scam and remain alert to the various phishing attacks that scammers use to get information or, worse, from your organization.
