Position: Tax Intern
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Tax Intern to join our dynamic team. As a Tax Intern at MSL, you will play a crucial role in leading and executing audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries. You will oversee a team of talented professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, research, and assess tax issues, providing valuable insights to our Seniors and Managers.
Prepare, or assist in preparing, Federal or State tax returns for individuals or other entities.
Complete, or assist in the accumulation of, essential information for various extensions for Federal and State entities.
Support the collection of information and organization of workpapers necessary for all tax-related activities.
Utilize CCH Axcess tax software.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled as an accounting major at a regionally accredited college or university as a junior or senior who has:
Completed Intermediate Accounting
Preferred overall GPA of 3.2/4.0
Preferred Accounting GPA of 3.3/4.0
