Position: Audit Senior
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our dynamic team. As an Audit Senior at MSL, you will play a crucial role in leading and executing audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries. You will oversee a team of talented professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and audit engagements from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work that exceeds client expectations.
Conduct research and in-depth analysis of financial statements.
Acquire a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives.
Collaborate with client management and personnel across all levels to effectively deliver services.
Identify and communicate audit findings, risks, and recommendations to clients and senior management.
Train and mentor staff and interns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting from a regionally accredited college or university.
Three to five years of public accounting experience
Active state Certified Public Accountant license or equivalent recognized by the firm (e.g. Chartered Professional Accountant) preferred, required.
Active driver’s license and proof of insurance
Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards.
Proven track record of leading multiple engagements to successful outcomes.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Governmental (State Universities & Colleges, School Districts, Counties, Healthcare Districts, Housing Finance Authorities, Municipalities, State Agencies, Transportation Authorities, and Utility Authorities)
Healthcare (Long-term care, Senior housing, Hospitals & health systems, Physician practices, and Community-based healthcare)
Middle-Market (High Tech, Manufacturing, Professional services, High net worth individuals, Tourism and hospitality)
