Position: Audit Intern
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Audit Intern to join our dynamic team. As an Audit Intern at MSL, you will play a crucial role in leading and executing audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries. You will oversee a team of talented professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed audit and review procedures on financial statement account balances.
Prepare and adjust workpapers based on the trial balance provided by the client.
Identify and propose updates to accounting systems and procedures, which might lead to management letter comments.
Research accounting issues.
Identify potential problematic areas in specific engagements and discuss them with the engagement supervisor.
Participate in the engagement planning process.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled as an accounting major at a regionally accredited college or university as a junior or senior who has:
Completed Intermediate Accounting
Preferred overall GPA of 3.2/4.0
Preferred Accounting GPA of 3.3/4.0
