ALEX BRINISTER, CPA, MSA

MIDDLE MARKET PRACTICE GROUP

Alex is the leader of the firm’s Manufacturing and High-Tech Specialty Group, and a member of the Securities and Corporate Finance Group.  He also works with clients in a wide range of areas, including Public Enterprises, Initial Public Offerings and SEC Filings, and Employee Benefit Plans.   

A member of MSL’s Middle Market Practice Group, Alex Brinister is the leader of the Firm’s Manufacturing and High-Tech Specialty Group, and a member of the Securities and Corporate Finance Group.  Alex has over 22 years of experience in accounting and auditing and works with clients in a wide range of areas, including Public Enterprises, Manufacturing Entities, High‐Tech Companies, Initial Public Offerings and SEC Filings, and Employee Benefit Plans. 

Alex previously worked for an SEC registrant in the manufacturing industry with international operations, where he had responsibility for financial accounting, U.S. GAAP, and SEC reporting.  Alex’s previous experience also includes work as an audit supervisor for one of the Big Four firms, as well as various accounting and management consulting roles with U.S. Government agencies, such as the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development.
