Cost Reporting

We provide services to over 550 senior housing and care providers and prepare over 600 nursing facility cost reports annually.

Audit

Auditors in our practice group work almost exclusively on SNF audits, so you don’t have to explain your business to them.  They have custom tools and utilize our benchmarking data to identify possible risk areas for you. For instance, not too many auditors can warn you if your Part A Rehab-Ultra mix is 60 percent above the state average for the last 12-month period. (With the assistance of our clinical consultants, our client was able to improve their documentation, so that when the feds saw the same thing and decided to investigate, there was no problem).

Tax

In addition to traditional tax compliance, we provide high-end, up-to-date advice and services because of our experience in the industry, including income, sales or use taxes.

Clinical Consulting

In addition to Revenue Enhancement (MDS) reviews, risk assessments, and survey assistance, our clinicians can provide training to help you improve both your documentation, and your RUG / case mix scores.  We even have a service set up to provide pre-submission MDS reviews. Certificate of Need

To give you the best chance of approval, we work closely with key Florida consultants on transfers of licensed beds and sheltered bed extensions to coordinate these filings with State Agencies.
