Memorial Scholarship
MSL has
developed the Ray Bolt Memorial Scholarship to benefit
partially from the Ray Bolt Foundation fund-raising. In
2009, the Foundation will fund $12,500 worth of scholarships
to be distributed to the University of Central Florida (UCF),
University of South Florida (USF) and Florida International
University (FIU). The scholarships will be awarded to
deserving undergraduate and graduate students majoring in
Accounting.
The Ray
Bolt Memorial Scholarship has been developed to remember and
celebrate former MSL shareholder, Ray Bolt. Ray was an
integral part of MSL and was instrumental in building the
Firm into what it is today. He was with the Firm for 24
years. During his career, Ray was dedicated to not only
serving his clients’ needs, the societal issues involving
affordable healthcare for the senior community, various
civic organization and his church, but also truly dedicated
to higher education. He was an advocate for and worked
diligently to support various educational institutions
included with recruiting endeavors. Ray served as an
inspiration for his fellow professionals by his tireless
dedication to his family, clients, and friends.
In the
spirit of Ray, MSL wants to ensure his legacy lives on.
Wishfully, the winner of this scholarship will not only
become as successful as Ray Bolt in the Accounting
profession, but will take to heart the story behind the
legend and will be as civic minded as he was.

a Ray Bolt Memorial Scholarship will include the
student’s activities, community service and grades.
