Rob Matschner is a Principal at Moore Stephens Lovelace,
P.A. (MSL) and is a member of the Firm’s Senior Housing
Practice Group. Rob has over 13 years of public and private
accounting experience and works almost exclusively with
senior housing and long-term care providers and other
not-for-profit organizations.
Professional Experience
Rob has extensive experience
managing audit, review and compilation engagements for a
variety of organizations within the healthcare industry. He
serves as the manager for the annual audit of approximately
15 continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs), including
an engagement with a multi-community group, and manages the
audits of 6 skilled nursing facilities every year as well.
In addition, Rob’s experience includes performing audits of
HUD-financed facilities, hospice and home health
organizations, ICF/DD and group homes, and rural hospitals.
Rob provides CPE training to clients, peers and MSL staff,
including presentations on Fraud Detection, the Paperless
Audit and other technical topics. He frequently presents
financial statements and audit results to clients’ Boards of
Directors, and his experience allows him to communicate with
Boards in a distinctive, practical manner.
